right now i am in school studying surgical tech, but my career goal is to become a midwife! since i was 12 i knew that was what i wanted to study. my question is ... what do i need to become a midwife? i had thought of getting my LVN license and then my RN and specialising in labor and delivery. i would be fine doing that. but my goal is to become a midwife. what do u recommend? are any of you midwifes? what did you do?.. my twitter is xXdrapetteXx if you want to reply to this again.. thank you tons!!

Answer:
Yale University has an excellent midwifery school. Why don't you check their requirements and research what other schools have similar programs? it seems like it would be faster to just go to school for midwifery than o slog through doing other (though related) jobs.
