How to make a group of friends?

• Everyone has their 'group'. Not like popular, jocks, losers. Just like a close knit of 2-3 friends. Well last year I had a close knit, of 2 friends. We even went to Florida together this year. But one is on a different 'team' at school and got into a new group, and the other one (were still pretty close) is realllyyy two faced, and is trying to fit into a group where everyone hates her..ever hear of the saying "Your known by the aqauintances you hold?" well, I'm starting to get associated with everything bad about her...so, I'm making a new group. It's quite easy...but a lot of work. I just picked two girls that I fairly liked, and didn't have a group, or a 'strong hold' with their group. Befriend each of them seperatley, and then invite them both over one day, and continue having them both over a lot. I also have another old friend, and were practically bestfriends to. So I'm going to throw her in to our little group also! Eventually, I'm hoping we all become really close. And that they're all going to like eachother. Is this a good plan? Any tips or idea's?

  Just remember the true or "right" reason for having a group of friends. It's for having real friends, not for looks. Usually groups of friends come naturally, not quite planned like what you're doing. But if they all get along I guess it will work. Just don't force something that wont happen immediately.
