How can I concentrate on my revision for exams?

Has anyone got an revision tips?

• I've got some exams next month at school for my GCSEs. I've got a maths, english and science exam. Maths is okay, because that is one of my favorite subjects and I have a tutor for that. English is good because my mum is an english teacher so she will probably get loads of english GCSE work (She teaches people who have failed their GCSEs and want to re-sit them). I'm just worried about science. I have a revision guide but I find it really hard to concentrate on science and remember it. Thanks :)

  I did GCSE's last year and for science I'd go on GCSE Bitesize, I thought this was a really good way of revising, because they have good revision games and video clips. I revised from my revision guide a lot too, i find that CGP ones are brilliant! Because they give you a lot of information but make it fun too. They make really bad science jokes (the kinda jokes that are so bad they're brilliant!) at the end of each page. I would revise and read through biology for 30mins and then take a 10 minute break (i would listen my ipod, check facebook, chat to family, text, make myself a smoothie etc.) and then get back to revising for another 30 mins and take a 10 minute break. I printed out LOADS of past papers, I found that doing this and then looking at the mark scheme helped me to see how to answer questions because you come to realise that some of the same style of questions crop up every year. Some marks are given for a particular word! I also did revision posters with LOTS of colour and diagrams because I'm a visual learner :) If you learn better by listening maybe you could record your self or make a video, or even do a song (e.g. a rap about photosynthesis) or you could get a revision partner (a friend) to work with.
