What is your back-to-school style and is it different than last year's?

  • I just went back to school shopping! =) This year, I went to the stores Pac Sun, Forever 21, Wet Seal and Discovery (very cheap clothes and accessories but still in style and cute too) and I bought 2 button down buffalo plaid short sleeve t shirts. They're so cute! I also bought 2 braided style white belts, one is thin and has a few studs and one is thick. I bought a cute silver loop necklace. I bought a pair of skinny jeans that fits me really, really well. I got 3 tank tops, one is blue cheetah print with a little lace and glitter, a black and white zebra style one, and a gray tank top with a colorful design on it. And I got a t-shirt that looks like a notebook with hearts on it and it says "love". I also got a blue and black plaid headband and a blue, purple and pink splatter style belt. Haha, sorry I know that was long, you don't have to read the whole thing but basically I think my style changed because last year I wore Abercrombie, Aeropostale, etc. and all of my clothes was just blue jeans and t-shirts that say "ABERCROMBIE" and boring stuff. And I only dressed like that because I wanted to fit in, but now my style is cuter and more unique. What's your back-to-school style and what stores do you like?

    OMG. I am so proud of you - I absoultely hate all those girls who dress like Abercombie clones, and pay so much money for boring shirts - It's awesome that you came to your senses, and now you got style! Haha, I matured a bit from my style last year. Last year, I went to Pac Sun, Forever 21, most of the stores you went to , Charlotte Russe, and thrift stores - and basically made my own rock, hipster look. I wore skinny jeans and basically thats it, But I realized this year it was a bit sterotypical, and I DO not want to be average. So this year, I went to all those same stores - I love the clothes, but I just chose more mature pieces, heels, and much more fashionable mature outfits that show off my independent style in a way that looks like I came off a runway. I'm really excited to go back to school and just walk around in my heels and cute skirts and dresses - but I still have my skinny jeans which I love, but now I can actually be a girly rocker chick! /skips off excitedly edit: you know what makes me really happy? how I shop at all these places people have in their before style, like jcpenny, kohls, tjmaxx, etc - and my wardrobe looks amazing - its mature, classy, edgy.

My back to school style is totally different, but then again, it always is. I change it every year lol. My back to school style this year is more scene girl / surfer / beach themed xD lol if you can understand that.. I wear lots of hollister and abercrombie and got a REALLY cute scene girl hairstyle. I wear lots of surfish beachish clothes and shell choker necklaces and flip flops and ankle bracelets. new ear piercings too. XD and i'm just gonna layer hollister / pacsun / abercrombie / hot topic tees with camis and wear skinny jeans most of the year lol

the goodwill provides every item of clothing I will ever need because I am poor and cannot afford all the stores you listed as "cheap" HA!

Im going to wear the same thing as last year.... aeropostale,wet seal,charlotte russe. that's basically my style and I don't wear it to fit in. :]]] ~edit~ &&I just bought one pair of white skinny jeans and a black pair of skinny jeans from wet seal the other day. =D

Great question, You get a star! Last year: Everything from Aero and AE, Hollister, etc. I had the labels on me 24/7. It was so boring- just tee shirts and jeans. This year- I started shopping for more unique items and I have only 2 shirts from Aero and nothing else. I have tons of dresses, button downs and rompers.I have a total of 16 outfits :} I am also wearing pretty sandals. I am also dressing WAY more girly. I love my style for next year. :} btw- I am a girl, 15, going into 10th grade.

only mall store i go to is zumiez journeys and foot action last year i used to wear really baggy clothes and looked gangster this year i have a lot of designed t-shirts and jeans from a skater brand but they look nice i also bought more jordan shoes this year

Well, I mostly wear skinny jeans, and hoodies that zip up to the neck. And I wear colorful shoes to go with it. Example, rainbow high tops, bright red skinny jeans, and like a white hoody. Or a red hoodie.

OMG i love discovery<4 is it only in chicago? (Thats were i live) i just shop way diff then last year. I used to shop at target and kohls. Now i shop at hollister, wet seal, target,discovery, dots, aero, and yeah~

my style has changed ALOT!! last year i didnt have much of a style and i dont know what i was thinking wearing the clothes i wore. (i was new in middle school and didnt know what was up) now i wear clothes like aeropostale, hollister, forever 21, pac sun, charrolette russe, and anchor blue. last year i shopped at place like Justice and jcpenny..yuck! im so excited for back to school shopping becuase this year i actually have alooott of style!

almost everything this year is from kohls, i started workin there in january. and i get a discount. last year i would wear cowgirl boots, jeans, button ups, football shirts (i was an athletic trainer) and mini skirts. i sill wear my boots and stuff but now im becoming more girly
