Can seniors take the ACT after they graduate?

I want to take dance. But my parents wont let me?

• Ive put this question before, i know. But ive tried the answers & they didnt work :'( Soooo Ive wanted to dance all my life, but my parents never got me into it. Im 14 now, and my parents are letting me try out for my schools dance team. But, im afraid I wont make it. I LOVE TO DANCE. It's one of my passions & I want to compete & be in those group dances and stuff :) But I dont have ANY EXPERIENCE whatsoever. Im afraiid I wont make the team. :( They wont even let me take the drill prep class that studios offer. I asked them that If I dont make it if I can take classes & they said no. Because it was too expensive. & I could either take dance FOR THE SUMMER. & do nothing else, not even this band camp that I HAVE to go to, or summer shopping, beach trips etc. :(( I REALLY REALLY REALLY, want to take classes if I dont make the team. I live in a small town. less than 700 kids is the whole school. & Hardley any FRESHMAN try out, but thats just it. FRESHMAN, i dont know how many Sophmores, Jrs, Seniors try out. & that was last year. Idk how many people are trying out this year becides me & my 2 friends. One of them takes classes with the dance instructor of the dance team & the other one has a sister on the dance team :( 1-How can I make the team? How to act? What should I wear? What should I know, work on? 2-How can I convince my parents to let me take dance if I dont make it?

  1: How can you make the team? Maybe you can practice by looking up a dance video on YouTube and following along. It will give you practice and you will be more prepared for when you try out. If your friends know so much about dance, practice with them. Ask them for their honest opinion of your dancing. How to act? Idk? What should you wear? Well, what kind of dancing is it? Whatever kind of dancing it is, you should wear something appropriate... find out what other people are wearing. Wear something easy to move in. Leggings or shorts? I don't know...ask your friends seeing as they know about it! What should you know, work on? Know-> Idk.. Work on-> See first Q 2: I don't know... obviously tell them how much you love dance. I can't believe they will not support you. You have probably already talked to them about it, so I do not know what else to suggest.
