Can a pregnancy test be negative then blood test be positive?

  • I went to the doctor wednesday and the urine test was negative i told the doctor all hte pregnancy signs ive had nausea,headaches,a little bit of sore breast,dizziness,sleppy,discharge,leg pians,abdomen pains so on...so she took a blood test to see if i am she said she would call me later with the results..but can the urine test be wrong

Yes, you can have low levels of hormones in your body that will not show up in a pee test. Wait for the doc to call you back.

it could be, but not very likely. The doctor's pee test is pretty accurate but the blood is more accurate

yes, if the concentration of the hormone that is detected in the urine is too low then the test will be negative.

It is possible. Maybe a false negative? Symptoms could be PMS tho.

yes, because you may not have enough of the hormones that the pregnancy test is suppose to look for. and a blood test can show even the slightest sign of pregnancy. Good luck and congrats if you are. Don't stress about it, just relax. either way you will probably feel down after finding out. I know cause I did.

I'm going thru the same thing, but I may have mis-calculated my dates, is it possible you have done the same? I have tested negative 4 days in a row but i have missed my period too and the test are negative. He should be able to tell you in 24 hours unless you did it today then it may take till Monday Good luck and baby dust to you
