What is sex ed like??

booooooooooooooooooooooooooooring its stuff everbody already knows, so nobody even pays attention its about STD's, safe sex, stuff like that

Last year we had a co-ed sex ed class. We learned how to put condoms on bananas. I had an allergic reaction to the latex. lol.

You most likely will do the bananna thing...just not in 6th grade (thats what grade your in...right?) and i think that jessies sister exagerated just a "little" bit. all i learned in school was pretty much what you said at the end. (protection, info about sex not to much hardcore info tho lol)

They may do the condom over the banana. Some schools do, some don't. They may pass out condoms. They teach you about protection, stds, getting pregnant, all that good stuff. It's not awkward. It's not a big deal. We were talking about puberty in grade seven, Amanda and I, surrounded by 6 guys. We just laughed. It's not a big deal. It's only sex ed.

At my school, they just taught us about male and female reproductive systems, STDs, etc. Don't be nervous! There's no reason to feel that way. Talk to some friends in your class, or ask a teacher what you'll be learning. :]

In Middle School/Jr. High the sex-ed classes are usually co-ed. Yes, you will most likely put a condom on a banana. No, they will not show you porn. It will be most likely the basic info about sex.

you learn about: the opposite genders "privates" STDs risks of sex (pregnancy) and blah blah blah we did the condom banana thing, and we were forced to say vagina and penis without laughing.

Hahaha I don't know about any penis models or anything. They didn't do anything like that for us. And they never showed us girls anything about how to put condoms on. And they CERTAINLY did not show us any porn. Consider yourself lucky if they do. No, I'm kidding. They aren't going to show you a video of people "doing it". As far as I can remember, they always separated us from the boys up until high school I think, and even then, they didn't do much sex ed. I think they talked about it in biology, but it wasn't very interesting. It's different at different schools. Don't worry, it shouldn't be too awkward or anything. They probably will just talk about STDs and abstinance. Don't expect to learn much stuff about the actual act of sex, though.
