How do you get your downloads from the sims 2 website onto your game?

i dont no how to get the sims 2 downloads off the sims 2 site onto my game! dose it go to it by itself? do you need to have them game on? what am i doing rong! ive never done it befor!

okay. you click download, and something pops up. right click and copy the downloads into your Downloads folder by doing this: Click on My Documents Click on EA Games Click on Downloads Paste what you have downloaded. Then click on the items and something will pop up and you have to click install and it should install.
