Thesis Statement for Articles of Confdederation DBQ?

• So for my APUS1 class, we are writing a dbq on the Articles of Confederation. The question reads :From 1781-1789 the Articles of Confederation provided the United States with an effective government. Using the documents and your knowledge of the period, evaluate this statement" I have written the rest of the essay, the only thing remaining is the thesis statement. Unfortunately, I can't come up with a clear and concise statement that demonstrates all of my facts in it. I don't want to put the essay up online, only because it could go anywhere else and my teacher might think I plagiarized it and yeah anyways, if you could just give me an example thesis statement that would be great. I'm not going to copy it, just use it as an example. Thanks a lot :) 10 points to the best thesis haah.

  You basicly just sum up what you are writing about. If you've written the paper already you should have no problem with this.
