What are some good table games for kids?

Do I have enough things for the kids to do?

  • I am looking for a craft that kids can do at my son's 6th birthday party. We have a jumper house and a pinata. I bought scratchers online (kids scratchers) and there will be 3 winners. What else can or should I do? My mom mentioned a craft table, but I am not sure what craft to do. My fiancee mentioned playing video games, but I do not like that idea. ANYTHING GOOD?

    I would not do the lottery tickets. I personally find it inappropriate and some of the other parents likely will as well. It is also unfair, in my opinion, to the children not "winning". Between the jump house and the pinata, I would not have any more planned activities. Our parties (and I have had a lot of them, as I have four children between 13 years and 9 months of age) have had themes and organized activities at times, but I find the children enjoy free play more. We have had a party where the children had a Wii tournament, but it would depend on the game and the age of those attending. The children in our "tournament" were much older than six, and more cooperative with taking turns and waiting their turn and the game allowed many players at one time.

Play Dough or kids clay and they could make something coloring pages

No video games! I believe that kids have friends over to talk and have fun, not sit in front of a TV screen. Also, its a really bad idea to have "winners" when your son is this young. Kids get upset at this age. At the craft table try having something that everyone will enjoy, like clay (model magic).

How about Birthday Match Up this simple game is the match up game using birthday party images. Children can play themselves or against other kids their age and enjoy matching up birthday cake and gift cards. A fun game to play anytime.

Yeah, no video games. For a craft, you could do paper airplanes, treasure boxes, etc, but girl's would be easier haha
