Which high school is better?

  • Im a sophomore in high school and its quarter three of my academic year. i have been going to a private all girls school since i was in 4th grade. At first i liked it there but as the years have gone by ive been hating school more and more. My best friend moved in the 7th grade to a school walking distance from mine. She loves it and wakes up wanting to go to school every day. Iv been wanting to go to that school ever since she went there. i walked up after school and i know all of the teachers and people there. everyone likes me and wants me to move. i told my parents and they agreed to let me move. now that its finally happening im having regrets about leaving my little all girls school. Im successful there and im a part of the school orchestra. it is also a much academically better school and has a better reputation. Next year i will be a junior and the school does a lot of traditions that iv been waiting to be a part of since the 4th grade. I still think i would be happier with my friends and have more memories of high school. high school only come around once but if i leave it will be like giving up and not finishing what i started. i'll be happier with my friends and good teachers but i wont have any accomplishment. what school should i go to that will leave me with the least amount of regrets?

don't feel guilty! if u don't move wen ur around 25 years old u will think wtf did i do? would u raver be happy with ur friends in a good educational school or ....... stay in a very good educational school miserable! good luck xxxxx

I think whatever school you go to will leave you feeling regrets. I would stay where you are. You know the teachers and they know you and your learning style, you know your classmates and you won't be walking into what might possibly be a completely different teaching style etc - which you don't understand or doesn't suit your learning style. But I think that if you leave, you'll have more regret then you will if you stay. From all you know your friends could act completely different when at school - and you may find yourself not liking them as much because of how they behave at school.
