Hippie / 70's day camp theme day games and activities ideas? Help! :)?

Make pretend joints by rolling up pieces of paper and pretending to pass them around and smoke them. EDIT: Why all the thumbs down? I said PRETEND joint, not a real one!

If you have a dollar store near you, you could purchase some beads and make friendship bracelets, some necklaces. You can also use buttons to make necklaces. You could ask each kid to bring in a pair of jeans that they don't want, but can still wear. Using paint (for clothes) or markers, they can write the words "love or peace" or anything they want on the pants. Once the tye dye t-shirts are done, they jewelry and the pants, they could have a 70's fashion show with 70's music. Even the counselors should really dress the part. These activities can be spread out over a few days with the week ending in a fashion show in your gym..After the fashion show, have a 70's trivia contest. This means through out the week the counselors need to educate the kids on things from that era. Your trivia questions will come from the information they heard during the week. This could be fun! Sign me up.

Get some 70's music and a disco ball. Teach them how to disco.
