Im going to camp this summer and?

Im going to miss the kids i taught during their summer camp?

  • so this was the first time for me being a camp counselor for little kids 3-5 and it really changed the way i looked at things in the world, it gave more innocence and simplicity to my life. i really enjoyed it though it was very tiring, it was only three days, but i had a really good relationship to the kids. im 15 btw. im going to miss them!! there is an opportunity for me to go next week again.. but that would be kinda awkward because i already quite... lol but i never got to say a real goodbye to each one of them. should i go back again next week? is it worth it? and i cant help wondering how they'll grow up to be... would i ever see them again? probably not unless i decide to be teacher when they all grow up, and me as well haha. but, i mean, will i? and my last question is, will they ever remember me?

Hi there, I'm a camp counsellor too and have been working with kids for the past 5yrs. That young grou 3-5yrs old probably wont remember you in a year. Do you remember your 2nd birthday party or your first day of preschool exactly? Those were major events, but you were just too young. You are the one that will remember working with the kids, treasure that and embrace the memory. If you have the opportunity to work with the kids again, i'd say do it. Sure it might (and probably will be) awkward at first, but just tell your employers that you hadnt realized how attached you'd get to the kids. Maybe this would be something you'd consider as a career? (kindergarten teacher, preschool teacher, nanny, etc.). Good Luck, and I hope you can find what you're looking for

Probably only a very small percentage of them will remember you specifically, the rest will just remember the experience of camp. They're really almost too young to have explicit memories anyway. No, you probably won't see any of them again. If it was such a good experience that you enjoyed, you shouldn't have quit, and if you think you'll kill yourself if you don't go see them, then go.
