Your life sounds very busy... but there is an easy solution to this. What you need to do is use your school agenda book (if your school does not supply one then you need to go and buy a daily planner). Your daily planner is your stress reliever because it allows you to physically see what you are doing over the next week. First thing you do is write in all of your after school activities. Then you need to set aside about an hour - 1.5 hours per night for homework. Write those in too. If the night doesn't allow it, maybe you have to wake up a little earlier on certain days. After you have written in your homework hours you will see exactly how much time you will be spending on each item of your day. This will fluctuate with certain projects/tests/exams. You can allot certain amounts of time to each (in your agenda). The reason I push the agenda for you is because it will save you from thinking that you are falling behind. You will see what you have to do and what needs to be done. Also, take note that some nights you will have 45 minutes of Homework... others, 2 hours. You can help yourself by maybe completing other things when you are only assigned 45 minutes of homework. (use that extra 45 min to work on a project that is due next month) As for study habits. You should find out what works for you. here are some examples of things you can do to study 1) Read the material 2) read the material and write down only important parts 3 read the material and write questions (a practice test) answer it the next day and see how you do. The things you get right, you can just review later. The things you get wrong you need to study and ask yourself many more questions about it until you have it. 4) Read the material (write notes) write questions with friends. Mix all of your questions up and make a fake test together. See what you know and what you need to study again. (or have friends, who are in the same class, make practice tests too) STUDY HABITS for projects... stay ahead of the game. Aim to hand things in 1 week before they are due. That way you are never struggling and if you just can't make the deadline you created, there is still a week of time to get it done. good luck
