Are there any free disabled holidays available?

What daycare is available to a seven and eight year old in Melbourne (out of school holidays)?

• My cousin's children are in my care for the next three weeks. DHS have told me not to put them in school as some of the time I have them, it's school holidays (they're being sent schoolwork from their own school). What sort of activities can I enrol the kids in when the school holidays aren't on? Do you have any ideas on who I can contact? I have been trying to contact DHS but haven't been able to talk to them as yet. The carers running the sessions need to have all of the relevent police checks, etc. Thanks for your help! PS They've both been through quite a bit and can be difficult so if you know of any really patient carers and options I'd love to hear about them!

  there is nothing until the school holidays in two weeks. As they are school age everything is for pre schools. School age kids are at school so nothing runs for them. They will have to stay with an adult. So take sometime to be with them and help them heal. For the first week in the holidays you can look at the YMCA, they run a school holiday programme, Churches often have programmes and your local school will have vacation care.
