I need some pool party ideas.

I need ideas for a princess pool party for a 7 yr old.?

  • I know that the standard is little mermaid, but she wants to be a "real princess" not a disney one. I guess I am looking more for activities to incorporate both of these ideas. Thanks! (this was posted earlier, but I wanted to change area that it was put into)

    Tie balloons on fishing line so that they look like they are floating at different heights all around the area. (weight some in the pool so that they are on the water)Float pink silk flowers (or petals) in the pool also.(floating candles are very cool if the girls won't be in the pool??) Arrange for a make-over. Like if you know of a mary-kay rep, they are always willing to do make-up or nail parties. Sometimes students from a local beauty school will come to practice for little or no money. Favors could be a hair brush and clip, fake or "fashion" jewelry, make-up, nail polish, flip-flops (real inexpensive in solid colors at a craft store). Buy lots of sticky "jewels" or beads and let the girls decorate a t-shirt (or the flip-flops) for their favor. Tulle from a craft or fabric store would be great for table covering or just draped everywhere. A bubble machine and bottles of bubbles for the girls. You could do petit fours instead of one large cake. Let them use plastic "champagne" glasses. Not sure if you have a Sam's Wholesale Club in your area, but they have a punch fountain for like 30 bucks that is clear with lights in it that is cool. Chocolate fountain with white choc of course with fruit, pretzels and cookies. make a topiary with strawberries in the shape of her initials. (styrofoam cut in letters with berries attached with toothpicks) Place settings could be tiaras with each childs name on ribbon. I have lots of ideas... [email protected] if you need more!

Buy her a pink bathing suit and a crown. Set out the lawn chairs. The girls can lay down and pretend to tan while you fan them with giant (leaves, feathers, etc.) On a table set up outside set up tea cups, spoons, plates etc. Pour sparkling apple juice into the tea cups while they eat cake and icecream. Stream the whole pool deck in pink ribbons and sparkles. After everyone is done swimming, do makeovers, sparkles in hair, dress up, etc. Pass out goody bags at the end and put plastic tiaras in them

Try doing the whole "enchanted princess" theme. ANOTHER idea is to do a princess tea party theme, but it might be a little hard to do at a pool.

maybe sometime around that age its time to break the stereotype thing maybe a football party get em GI Joes for party favors, it might be interesting to see what they do with em, then maybe take em to play paintball

Well she can wear one of those little crowns. If it wasnt a pool party she could have worn a dress to go with it too.

Call this number, 1-310-495-5412 a woman named Shannen (most parents call her Sha-nay-nay) will anser. She does great parties, from costume to princess. She even has a free clown named Pedro, I belive she is a drag queen ...but the kids wont know the difference.
