What is the best preschool learning system out there this year?

What would be the best Reading Learning System for a 5 year old? He is having a hard time reading.?

  Who's pushing him to read? Boys naturally tend to read later than girls, and reading at 5 years old is not going to do him any more good than if he started at 7 years old. Pushing him to read is more likely to turn him off of reading and cause more harm in the long-run. What I would do is get a book he would enjoy that is above his reading level and read to him. Work on phonics and letter recognition. If his school is saying he's slow or that he needs a tutor, then consider getting him one, but he will likely catch up without it, but he won't undo the damage of his school calling him slow. Where I live, school is not required until they are 6, almost 7, so I'd homeschool him rather than have them make him feel stupid or make reading not fun. If he likes reading, he WILL catch up.
