What is difference between sexually abusing a child and spanking a child?

Because if police walk buy and see the kid spanked YOUR EITHER CHARGED OR IN JAIL

There is a BIG difference between sexual abuse and child abuse. Child abuse would be not keeping your child fed and clothed, properly cleaned, physically abused by beating, etc. Sexual abuse is entirely different. In ANY event, anyone who tells you spanking your child is abuse most likely has an unruly mob of children who walk all over their parents. Idealy, a swat or 2 on the butt to reprimand a child at the ages of 2 and 3 will net you some respect in the oncoming years. You do NOT have to beat a child to let him know who the boss is. I raised 2 wonderful and highly educated children (now in their late 30s) who have grown up to be very loving, responsible adults with great jobs and wonderful incomes following this rule.

HUUUGEEEEEE difference. spanking your child is like a punishment or for some people discipline. sexually abusing your child is like... wow. reallllllyyyyyyy bad.

People who say that spanking is child abuse are generally referring to PHYSICAL child abuse, as in inflicting pain through hitting. I do not know of anyone who considers spanking to be SEXUAL abuse, as in an activity carried out for the sexual gratification of the parent. Child abuse can be physical, emotional, and mental as well as sexual. I think you are mistakingly assuming that when people say they think spanking is child abuse that they are referring to the sexual form. I am anti-spanking but do not believe that most pro-spanking parents spank their children with a view to abusing them. The parents have simply not learnt better parenting skills. Yes, there is a HUGE difference between sexual abuse and spanking. I agree that sexual abusers should be removed from society and imprisoned. Again though, I know many anti-spanking parents and have never heard one suggest it is sexual abuse. An aspect of spanking that I fail to understand however is the way some parents insist on spanking their child on their naked buttocks. What is that about? Surely removing a child's clothing can only add humiliation, embarrassment and shame about their body to the situation. If spanking is the considered, measured form of discipline that pro-spanking parents state, then where does the need to humiliate come into it? I can understand the arguments parents put forward for spanking as a form of discipline, though I do not agree with them. But I cannot understand why there is a need to do it on the childs naked skin. I think that is beginning to drift into the area of child abuse.
