Permanent resident student loan?
-
I am moving to Canada soon as a permanent resident. I intend starting school a few months later? Will I be eligible for a student loan to attend say Concordia, McGill Uni, or even Vancouver Film School? Any advice will be appreciated.

Answer:
after you become a PR, you generally have to work for one year (or pay your own way at college) and show at least ONE tax return before you can apply for a student loan. the student loan office do need to see how much you earned so they can decide how much to give you.
