What is a Global Passport?

ROYAL MAIL LOST MY PASSPORT WITH MY Indefinite leave to remain VISA STAMPED IN IT...WHAT SHOULD I DO?

AFTER STAYIN IN DA UK 4 2YRS AFTER MARRYIN MY WIFE I APPLIED 4 MY INDEFINITE TO REMAIN VISA...EVERYTHING WAS SIMPLE BUT WEN THE HOME OFFICE SENT ALL MY DOCS AND PASSPORT BACK. ME AND MY WIFE'S PASSPORT FELL OUT. HOWER MY WIFE'S PASSPORT HAS BEEN RETURNED AS IT WAS A BRISITH PASSPORT BUT MY INDIAN PASSPORT IS STILL MISSING!!! I WANT TO GO TO INDIA BY TE END OF JULY... WHAT CAN I DO; I REALLY NEED MY PASSPORT WITH MY VISA STAMPED IN IT AGAIN. SO I CAN TRAVEL. AS IT WAS ROYAL MAILS FAULT WILL THE HOME OFFICE STAMP THE VISA AGAIN IN MY NEW PASSPORT... OH PLEASE, SUM1 HELP...

  If both passports fell out of the envelope, and one was found, there's a good chance that the other will be found. If Royal Mail find a British passport, they can liaise with the UK Passport Office to track down the owner and send it back to them. As the Royal Mail doesn't have such connections with the Indian Passport Office, they'll probably just have it sent to the Indian embassy. I suggest you first get in touch with the Indian embassy and speak to them. Maybe they have it, or can sort you out with a new or temporary one. They will also give you all the information you need for getting a new passport and stamp, if that is required. They will give you the correct contact details.
