15% of all construction jobs are held by illegal immigrants. Is construction a job Americans don't want to do?

Why is it the first thing we hear is illegals are super human beings who can out work anybody on earth as Bush says , bring it on.Many of these jobs require certification and licenses such as welding.If illegals are so hard working where is the pay off at in Mexico than ?

I work in construction, and i"m American. The only people that support illegals invasion and say Americans are lazy are racist losers with not ethics that have to lie to support their criminal lazy brown invaders from south of the border. But it cannot be easy defending illegal lazy trash form Mexico. viva la migra

Those illegal alien proponents are telling people bold face lies. Americans will do any job in order to take care of our self's an family's. The illegal alien criminals have stole these jobs from the Americans people. The illegal invaded the country and under cut the wages. WE CAN NO LONGER BE SILENT!

I do it all the time. It is a job that contractors will gladly pay much less to have an illegal do.

I own a construction company and I compete with low quality undercutting price gouging illegals. If you compare the quality of my workers work to them its like comparing apples to turds. They work for cheap and have little skill. One week they are hanging drywall the next siding and it shows. Jack of al trades lousey at all of them. The new homes they finish look like crap. I have gotten to the point I just laugh at the builder and say no just have the south of the border siders make it look like crap I cant work for minimum wage and neither will my employees. As the old addage goes you get what you pay for. Cheap usually means just that. Hire American contractors, have it done right the first time.
