Do you need a re entry permit?

Do I need re-entry permit under this circumstance?

  • I just finished my parole in May, 2006. I am an US permanent resident and have a US green card and want to go back to my country for 2 weeks in Aug.. Do I need re-entry permit to ensure that I can come back to US? (I am worried about the whole parole issue) Thanks

  • Answer:

Only people with visas require re-entry permints. As a Green Card holder you're a permenant resident and can come and go as you please. That is as long as you have a valid passport from your country of origin.

I would double check the laws to make sure you go about it the right way. I you are allowed to go ahead and visit your country but make sure to double check everything just incase.
