Can i marry my Spanish girlfriend at the UK?

However, is she is not a UK citizen merely marrying her does not mean you will have a right to stay after your visa expires. So chances are you will either have to return to Spain or Egypt with her, or live apart. To my knowledge the above is accurate, however, the marriage would certainly be legal, just not giving you legal right to reside in the UK. For all I know, it might get her tossed out anyway. If the UK immigration authorities look at this as a marriage of convenience, whether taking place in Spain, Egypt, or Britian, EU family immigration laws may not matter. As she is not UK citizen, you are better of getting married in Spain, I think you need to ask your Spanish embassy in your country. You can get schengen EU family visa after you get married which is different to UK visa, so would need separate visa to live and work in the UK.
