Will the US Immigration know that I received a police caution nearly 10 years ago?

I want to become a paramedic, will a police caution 8 years ago affect my application to university?

• hello in 2002, i was out for my birthday with friends when a friend of mine noticed the boot was open on a porsche. he walked over and opened the boot, a little further and picked items out, and passed 1 to me, we then proceeded to walk away and then subsequently arrested by the police, and taken to the police station. We were both given a police caution, and told that we would not have to declare this to any employer as it was only a caution. i know that if you apply to a university for a paramedic science degree, that they now do an enhanced crb check and have to declare any convictions spent or unspent and any cautions you may have received. so my question is will this damage my chances of getting on the paramedic science degree course. it was a stupid thing to do 8 years ago and regretted it eversince, and this will be more than likely to show up for the rest of my life, and is now something that i have to live with.. any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers justin
