American citizen get married in germany with a german citizen is that wise to do or better get married in U.S.?

i'm a U.S. citizen and she's german citizen but she wants to get married in Germany, i been told that german rules is very strict and if we get divorce, the german government will hunt me down for a alimony and she also want's me to sign a pre-nap ? is that a good idea to get married in germany or in U.S. , also can i file a divorce in U.S. if we get married in germany?

Answer:
It doesn't matter where you get married. If you get divorced, the law that will apply is where you live, regardless of where you were married.
