Kenyan visa for Ukraine passport holders after removal stamp from london.?

• Hi. My girfriend and I are traveling to Kenya in a few weeks and are in need of a little clarification on visa issues. I have a british passport and know that I am able to get a visa on arrival. My girlfriend is a ukrainian passport holder. We have been advised that she can also get the visa upon arrival too. However we are a little worried that she may be refused. We were coming home from a holiday in the caribbean last year and were supposed to transit in London on the way back to catch another flight back to Ukraine. However the British immigration did not allow her to transit and put a romoval stamp in her passport and held her there until they could organise a flight home for her. We are conserned that we will have complications when trying to get a visa on arrival in Kenya because of this stamp. Any one know the answer? We would just go and get her a visa, but the nearest office is in Moscow and thats a 2 hour flight away and lots more cash. Many thanks. Adam.

  The obvious answer is to ring up the Kenyan embassy in Moscow and speak with a consular officer. My experience clearing immigration in Nairobi is that they have an extremely lackadaisical attitude about everything but that was before the embassy bombings a few years ago.
