How can I work in USA or UK?

My partner is from India and on a work visa in UK. Can she apply for a visitor visa to USA from UK?

  • She is on a working holiday visa for 2 yrs, but she can only work 1 of those yrs. Her working yr is up in Jan. She wants to apply for the HSMP so she can work in the UK longer, but she also wants to come visit USA in Jan with me since that is where I am from.

  • Answer:

All you have to do is visit or call the American Embassy in the UK and they will inform you about the procedure that your girl friend have to follow. Good luck and have a nice trip to America the land of the free. Every legal immigrants is welcome to America.

Yes she can, there is nothing to stop her going there on a Visitor Visa.

She can apply but they may decline the visa. This is purely to ensure that your girlfriend is not looking to stay in the USA on a permanent basis.
