What is a good preschool teacher forum?

Will Yahoo Immigration forum ever be like it was?

  • It seems like no one really wants to take a mature stance on either side any more. All of the heavy hitters on each side have been censored, or someone has gotten offended, and went and told, and had their accounts deleted. I mean what fun is there in having differences in opinions if you have no one to share them with, and then debate with? I mean it seems like all there is left is people either calling names, or reporting someone. I remember when people could debate this issue and no one got reported. Now it's not the same. Yahoo is censoring people and deleting accounts because of a few sensitive people. Come on people if you can't take the heat of debate, or an opinion different from yours don't come to this forum. That is what politics are all about. Can't we pro's and anti's do something to turn this back into a debate forum, and not a playground with people running to tell the teacher when they get offended?

    Nothing has changed.You still have people who want to line the border with alligators,the Sorpranos,pitbulls,etc.The people who make sense are few.

I have to agree. I'm fairly new on here and I don't know if I will last because too many people are whining and getting offended. Somehow I offended someone that I could not understand their "written" english and told them "politely" they needed to take a grammar class. Yahoo deleted it and said I offended that person. Go figure!

I don't understand why its so difficult for anyone to post their views without demeaning another person.I am truly fed up with PC BS that doesn't go both ways. I am anti illegal and I voice my views but I don't use racial slurs or insults to get my point across.I have still offended people and have been reported.But I know that I am not using someones race.color.ethinic background or country of origin as my spring board to truth. We can agree to disagree in a manner that doesn't hurt other peoples sensibilities. I don't see that Yahoo has changed much since Ive been on here .Names yes but attitudes no.Except the revenge frivolous reporting has increased. Both sides of this volatile issue have said hate filled things and I simply don't understand why.What does it accomplish ?Yes we are frustrated,we both think we are right .But I am an American first and I do want my nation to be filled with people that respect this nation .I don't see anything wrong with that.It is still illegal to enter this nation without proper documentation.That's a fact. This account means nothing to me,but my self respect does. I don't say anything on this forum that I don't say in my everyday life.

I am fairly new to YA. When I first came to the Immigration forum there were many racial slurs being posted as well as people stating that they were locked, loaded and ready to shoot "Mexicans" that cross the border illegally. This forum is for ages 13 and up. Adults can process the hate and understand that it is a failing on the haters part. Children are impressionable. I think YA did what they needed to do to keep the forum appropriate for all age groups. Just my two cents.

Brave on cat-s**t I'm with you 100% Thats what America is about, being able to express our many different opinions with out fear of censorship.I know a lot of my opinions offend some. but tough s**t I'm American and its my right.If you don't like it give me a thumbs down, thats your right and I'll live with it!God bless you all.
