Refugees in Nigeria Junior Model United Nations??

• Okay, firstly, I am a middle schooler in 7th grade that is in Junior Model UN. I have to write a paper on Nigeria's position on the issue of refugees. My committee is the UNHRC ( United Nations Human Rights Council). How this works is, everybody has a different country and issue to write about. At the competition/meeting at a local university, we discuss our topics and make resolutions for them. In my paper I need background research on the issue, and what the UNHRC is doing or has done about the refugees. The only problem is, I have never written a position paper before, and I am completely stuck. Also, a bunch of stuff in the articles I have found makes little sense to me, so if you could summarize or explain what the stuff means, that would be great! All help will be appreciated greatly!
