Is it easy to get a job in the UK?

How easy is it for Chinese nationals graduating from UK unis to get a job in the UK?

• Hi everyone, I'm just asking this because my Chinese friend is considering doing her Masters at a UK university (Birmingham or another). She wants to remain here when she graduates, but she says new government regulations state she must find a job with a minimum £20k salary within 3 months of graduating. She wants to study Education or Translation and find a job in these general fields. Does anyone have any experience in this? I don't know if it's true about these regulations or the finer points of it. Anyone tried this route? How easy have you found/ are you finding it? Any idea what the percentage of graduates who are successful at this might be? Thanks, Andy :)

  The truth is that it is extremely difficult. Work visa regulations have been tightened significantly, for non EU citizens. Marriage may be a possibility!
