Im here at malaysia, but im a filipino citizen, how to apply us tourist visa?

I am staying here in Malaysia and i want to visit my relative in Texas, do i need to go home in the philippines to apply for a us tourist visa? or i can apply here in malaysia for my u.s. tourist visa

i think you most apply from your home-country so they can run all the checks on you with the local authorities and in case they need you to provide some paperwork from local institutions ( birth certificate, police clearance, criminal record, wedding cert. etc) cheers and good luck.

If you are staying in Malaysia on resident type or long term visa type status, you can apply at US Embassy there. If not, you must apply in your home country.
