Acceptance letter and Canadian Student Visa?

When to apply for student visa and acceptance letter?

• If your uni course starts in september, how long prior should you apply for visa? also how long in advance of course can you recieve course acceptance letter from uni? ive checked the uni web site and theres no info on when to apply for visa or when they will accept international students onto courses. they enrol in september but thats just a matter of weeks before the studies begin.Would it be possiable for my g/f to come over in December as prospective student for 6 months and say arrange her uni course in may,which will start next september? any help from international students in uk would be great. I am English my g/f South African. Thanks for any help

  I'm assuming uni indicates a university course beginning in September 2008. If not, you have have no chance for getting a visa for 2007, regardless of your nationality!
