Is Haiti just TOO dangerous for travel?

Aid travel to Haiti?

• My good friend has been asked to travel to Haiti for a week under the guise of a Corporate Responsibility Program. While there, he will stay in tents and hopefully try to find solutions to some of the local problems (In a week???). I am worried. Is Haiti safe? Would you travel there?

  Presumably your friend is escorted and is being looked after? It is also the start of the rainy season and there is the risk of mudslides. If your friend has taken all those problems on board, then let him go. They need him.
