Young Canadian would like to live in Paris, France -- Suggestions on how to afford living expenses?
-
I'm a twenty-something Canadian woman with a BFA and a certificate in sewing arts, and I'd love to work or volunteer for theatre companies in Paris to gain experience in my field of costume design. Are there some tricks to making it in a big expensive city, if you don't have a job lined up? I'm fluent in French. Any suggestions? Waitressing, maybe? Merci!

Answer:
Contact the French consulate or embassy in your city or province to look into obtaining a Visa, and maybe they'll have ideas for employment as well.
