I have removed from UK. can I come back to the UK.

My Sister was removed from uk 5 yrs ago, can she come visit me in uk? I heard one is allowed to come after 5yr?

  • Answer:

There is a time element, which may depend on the reason for deportation, and what the Judge ordered. In fact, any person in the world can apply to enter the UK legally. Whether or nor a visa is issued depends on the decision of the entry clearance officer at our overseas diplomatic post. (Embassy or Consulate). After that, it depends on the decision of the immigration officer at the port of entry. There is no bar on a former deportee applying for entry later, and although there are many reasons why a visa will not be granted, there are other mitigating reasons why one might. One is the passage of time during which the applicant has good behaviour wherever she sas been living. Another is if the applicant has certain close relatives legally living in the UK, such as you yourself. These are only possibilities. Many applications will just fail. I suggest your sister contacts the British Embassy where she is and asks them for advice. However, even if they say everything is OK, the immigration officer may refuse her entry when she arrives.

Removal or deportation indicates that she must have violated immigration and/or other laws of the UK. Why was she deported? Immigration violations only, or did she commit any other sort of crime? That record of violation(s) will always be against her. Deportation typically means a 10-year ban before she can apply for any visa, but even after completing her ban, her chances of ever getting another visa are poor to nil. You will have to go visit her in her country. She's likely not coming to UK again - and probably never will be allowed in again.

if she was deported it is usually 10 years. She needs to check with Immigration. UK

I believe she has to go to the embassy first and do lots of stuff before she goes. It all depends on the embassy weather they allow her to go to UK or not.
