What are the steps on how to work abroad as a nurse?

What are the steps into working as a nurse in england/UK from a foreign country?

I am currently in nursing school and i speak english fluently. i also am in the philippines getting my BSN in nursing while i remain a dual citizen in both the philippines and the united states. i dont plan on taking the board exam for the philippines but plan to take the NCLEX for the U.S. after i graduate. how can i work in england if i wanted to? what are the steps and exams, etc... that i need to do? i've done some searching about working in england but all i get for results was the EU system which wasnt really helpful. also, does england hire CRNAs? do they have nurse anesthetists in the UK?

I'm afraid you will find it much harder to get a nursing job in UK now, we seem to be cutting back on accepting Philippine nurses, I don't really understand why! but I do know that we are about to face massive unemployment here in the UK because of this recession.
