What kind of visa do I need to go to Germany?

Does my husband (non-eu) need a visa to go to Germany for holiday?

  • Since 2 years we are in Uk. He is Indian and Im from Poland. He holds in his passport "Residence Card of Family Member of EEU National". Does he need a visa to go to Germany for 3 weeks if we are planning to travel together? What types of documents will he have to provide at the airport? Can anyone refuse our entry to Germany?

    As long as he is travelling with his EEA family member i.e. you in this case, he does not need a separate visa to travel to Germany for a short visit (under 90 days)
