How can I work in USA or UK?

How can I make up clinical hours in mental health, children & maternity nursing in UK to work in USA as a RN?

• I am a newly qualified nurse who wants to work in the USA, however I lack the needed clinical hours needed in order to apply to do the NCLEX and work in the USA. I have a BSC in adult bursing and I am a registered general nurse. I would like to do the make-upcourse here in England, however I need to do 80 clinical placement hours (along with 40 theory hours) in each area and I have been unable to find any university that does these kind of short courses in the UK. It can be done in Canada but I would like to do it in the UK.

  Maybe you can apply for a student visa in the U.S? Contact colleges if you need to do some extra clinicals. This is the only way they are offered here in the U.S, through schools. You may be wait listed, as it is a popular program in the U.S. If you do not want to get a visa, you may just have to take the regular courses in the U.K. I am sorry I could not be more help, I am a nurse but not an expert in the way the U.K trains their nurses or in foreign nurses taking NCLEX.
