How do I become a sworn translator in California?
-
I am investigating on how to become a sworn translator. I have signed up to get the CTP - Certified Translation Professional and I am about to get my certificate. Question: Do I need anything else in order to be able to work as a sworn translator? I am asking because it I would be translating birth certificates, immigration paperwork, divorce paperwork, school transcripts, etc... Do I need anything else related to notary services?

Answer:
You need someone to swear at you and for you to translate it.
