Should we be educating Illegal children in the Public Schools System?
-
This is one HOT question in the America. The problem is it is hard to tell who is legal or illegal. In today's world of the forger one can buy just about any type papers. However that problem does not make it right even if the cute little child has some terrif papers....it is one of morals, right or wrong. As a taxpayer to me it is a NO Brain er!! Of course it is wrong to educate the illegal. It is of course more wrong for a parent to put their illegal issue in school in the first place...the parent should know better . But they have been told "this is America, Land of plenty and home of the immigrant. This idea is supported by the Many Catholic Churches and other liberal social services that turn their head in favor of the illegal. It is a simple thing to comprehend: "What part of the word illegal is it you do not understand" Ask that question to a Catholic Priest who is sheltering a group of illegals in a self proclaimed sancturary and they will say " They are doing GOD's work"...well they might be but when PUSH comes to shove THEY ARE NOT PAYING FOR THE SCHOOLS, THEY ARE TAX FREE!! So that leaves you the tax payer to pay for the illegal to attend our public schools. Should we be educating Illegal children in the Public Schools System?

Answer:
it's not hard to tell who is illegal. when i was growing up we had to sow proof of address s.s card nd birth record. anyone who showed a birth record that was not from here had to show legal status. i went to school with an Italian girl. her family came here legally. they was so proud to be here. that was the first time i ever witnessed immigrants who was happy about being in this country. if all govt agency's asked for legal proof our schools would not be over run. in the town i live n teachers are starting to complain about the kids who can't understand english. they are saying it's making it harder for them to teach the ones who belong here. maybe they will wake up ad start reporting illegals.

NO> Illegals should be deported, all of them. These freeloaders are putting a burden on legitimate taxpayers, and it is time the people stood up against it. This also means no bi-lingual education programs either because the expense is horrific. Illegals' strain on the society is one of the reasons why California is bankrupt, yet politicians are somehow to stupid to see this.

When an illegal buy a pack of ham, Doesn't he/she paying taxes for it? Isn't the same when they buy anything in this country? Are they illegal just because they didn't birth here? Who kicked the Mayflower people when they arrived? Did they birth here? Why does a child has to suffer? Isn't that child our future too? This got nothing to do with God, these got to do for the future of a human being.

This is ONE of the reasons California is bankrupt. NO, they should not receive anything that has to do with our tax dollars. It costs money through us taxpayers for those kids to go to school.

YES! their parents pay way more in taxes then what it takes to educate them, and having more immigrant children with an education is beneficial to the United States. http://www.usimmigrationsupport.org/cont... Besides their contribution to the economy, immigrants contribute in many other non-economic ways. They add diversity to the nation and give us a better understanding of different cultures by living side by side with Americans. In a study conducted by Harvard University, findings indicate that many immigrant children value education more highly than young children born in the United States. In many immigrant families, education is stressed as the way to a better life. Many immigrant children end up pursuing higher education and this adds to a greater number of individuals in the U.S. with a college education. As a result of an increased population attaining advanced degrees, the U.S. can be even more competitive in today’s global market. The United States is a country founded by immigrants, and future immigration will undoubtedly continue to play a significant role in American history.

I understand your point about tax dollars paying for the children of people who are probably not paying taxes. But let me ask you something. Why punish the children? They are innocent in this. They did not ask to be brought here illegally. Some of those kids were born in the US which makes them citizens of the US. So, that automatically gives them all the rights of the US. And not educating a child only perpetuates the cycle of turning to government help or crime since they do not have the education to go anywhere or do anything that would give them a salary to support themselves. I'll opt for paying for their education so I don't have to pay for them the rest of their lives.

I rather pay taxes to have the illegals kids in school then have then in the streets celling drugs, stealing to feed them self on other crimes!!! Even though there parents were born else-where some have kids that were born here so the kids have every right to the education and other benefits cause they are US citizens just like you! There's a lot of illegal parents that do pay taxes like EVERY US Citizen! So what do you want cause obviously they aren't going anywhere any time soon? Them in school or in the streets!?!?! WE DON'T NEED ANYMORE CRIME!!! Why cant we all just get along!!! We will never have peace in love cause everybody is sooo worried about ever-body's status in this country!!! That's why "Peace and Love" will never happen here!!!
...Boobies!
You need to listen to yourself. What part of illegal don't you understand? Unless you are a Native American Indian, then you are "illegal" too. The Native Americans are the only real Americans. And these children you are talking about, they are God's children just as much as the white kids and black kids and all other colors. So my answer is YES, they deserve a good education just as much as any other child does. How does a piece of paper make someone "legal" anyway?!
