Are U.S. drug users and their addiction the reason why Mexican drug cartels enter America?

If we didn't have all these drug users and distributors for these drugs in America, would we even know about the Mexican drug cartels?     The answer is simple. As long as there is a demand, someone will always be there to supply the product. Years ago when the government outlawed alcohol it still flowed as if there were no end. Bootlegging was at a all time high. The same is true with drugs. When there is lots of money to made, someone will always step up and deliver. The only solution is to break the habit of drug usage. If there is no demand, then the drug flow will stop. There would be no money to be made if people did not want the product.

how ridiculous a statement. these drug dealers come here get our children and others hooked on the **** and it is not the dealers fault. Every country has drugs and abusers. if the dealers were not supplying them, how many lives would be straightened up. talk about splitting families apart, this is what these criminals are doing to our families. you are so willing to take up for illegals that you are willing to make excuses for drug dealers and such types. what a sad person you are.

Your right its called supply and demand.... If either side of the equation is eliminated, the other can not exist.. It works two ways..

Yes, but that doesn't excuse the criminal scumbags who smuggle drugs and sell them to our citizens. It might help if we decriminalized marijuana, but under no circumstances should heroin, cocaine, and meth be decriminalized. the war on drugs is a failure; perhaps we should just start executing those who supply illegal drugs to our children.

The illegal aliens from Mexico are a huge problem for the U.S. period. I imagine many of them are drug suppliers even though all the pro illegals claim they are good people. There will always be people that use drugs, not much that can be done about it. There is something that can be done about all the illegals over here mooching off our system.

So according to your theory if your child gets murdered by a Mexican drug cartel it isn't their fault it is the drug user in the US and you would not want the Mexican drug cartel member prosecuted? It is supply and demand as stated earlier! Both sides are to blame but if it was my kid I would go after the Mexican drug cartel member first!

As for buying products from china we as consumers don't have much choice. It's not what we want but whats available. The Feds have "given away" all our industry to foreign countries to "help their economies grow". Now we need help, where are all those we have helped? Drugs are easy and cheap to manufacture, easy to sell and you can make a tremendous amount of money. If the drug dealers couldn't import and sell their product and make money people couldn't use. The argument works both ways. DEALER, USER? USER, DEALER?

That's a good question. That's true people wouldn't bring drugs if people weren't buying them now would they! It's about time somebody post "the other side of the story".All we ever here on here is how the illegals do this and that, but never what the Americans do!

Dude I believe your on drugs. War on drugs is as pointless as trying to tell people to live in peace. Drugs have been here since the dawn of civilization. Your always going to have people who are dumb enough to not deal with reality and settle for drugs. If you truly believe drug cartels are horrible people, let me point out some really f'ed up people. The pharmaceutical companies. Because they are hell bent in doping up society in an endless supply of chemical pills. Heart burn? take this drug! Headaches? take this one! NO erection? NO PROBLEM! LEGALIZE MARY JANE!
