  • Hi, I am applying for British Citizenship and i have two question it would be great if you guys can help Q 1: I got 3 points and £60 fine on my license for using mobile phone and it was on spot i didn't go to any court. As nationality form ask only for criminal convictions do i still need to declare these points and where because as far as i know mine is not criminal conviction as it was on spot fine and and points. Q2: I have recently registered for self employed and They ask to show tax statement that i am paying tax my this year income would about £7000 so i would not have to pay tax on it anyway so can they refuse because my income is low i pay my NI by DD and as far as i know there is no minimum requirement for income . Thanks

  • Answer:

Points and fine is civil not criminal so will be OK. As for your self employment you need your Accounts checked by an Accountant who can give you the relevant letter to show to the Authorities. Paying no tax will not be a problem. UK

Six points for driving stupidity will not be taken into account. Even policemen have points on their licence.it is a nuisance because your insurance is increased. if you declare it on your form and it may be as well it would be an indication that you are hiding nothing. I do not know about self employed taxation
