Can you work in Italy with a student visa?

I have a multiple entry student visa and a valid work permit , can i get out of canada and come in again?

• HI everyone , this is my question: Im planning to go to the USA by bus next week ,I have a student visa valid until January 2012 that i got so i could study here in 2009 , I did a one year program studies , and i got a job and i have a work permit until march 2012, The thing is that im worried that with my student visa they wont let me get back in to canada , and I just came from US last week and when i was entering in customs the officer told I shouldn't be getting in to the country with a student visa if im a worker , he let me in but he let me worried. So if somebody can help me solving this doubt. thx

  That's most unusual to be given a work permit like that. They are usually based on skill level or study.
