Why do some people believe the lie that illegals work "cheap?"?

because ppl are idiots, and the government doesnt want good working white men and women to succeed so they feed our heads with bs like the illegal cockroaches only do crap jobs, i was working with an electrician making 17/ hr, and i came in one day to and my other 3 employees werent there, the boss told me they quit, i asked why and he showed me that he hired some idiots that didnt speak a word of english, he asked if i wanted to work and get paid "under the table" he said id make 8.50 an hr but its tax free. i was 18 i had a great job, but thanks to some cockroaches that snuck over here i was forced to find work elsewhere making 6-7 an hr...thats y i joined the union. its sickning, he hired 6 of them and paid them not even half of what the 4 of his previous employers made, its just plain wrong, if your sure they are illegal please please report them and get them out of this country, have them take their disease back to where they belong!

they do work cheaper than most...at least where i'm at.....don't get me wrong ,here $12-$15 an hours good but NO ONE should be roofing a house for under $18 to start.....but they will, so the roofers walk off 'cause they won't take a cute in they're pay nor should they.......so yes they do make a difference in the job market...send them home maybe we would feel a "crunch" for a very short term but eventually people will charge more for there services in turn will pay people more of a fair wage and in the long run , i feel, we will all make more money.....no i won't pick tomato's for a few cents per pound but would consider it for $15 an hour.....

America seems as though it is a hypocrisy now...I'm ashamed and moving to Canada. seriously though...I feel taken advantage of...I'm a white american I bust my butt all day to watch alot of money on my paycheck go towards fed and state taxes....and these illegals will work and not have to pay taxes...it's unfair

You are right. We are importing an underclass, More of them will learn to scam the system, taxes will go higher to support them, and before you know it, we'll be like Mexico! Then we'll have "Mexican-Americans" (oh, you know the hyphenating will come soon) sneaking into Canada! A prominent local hospital closed because too many Mexican poor and illegals were going there and not paying. Once that became the "hospital of choice" for those people, people who could pay chose to go somewhere else. Too many long lines waiting to get the hospital interpreters for the illegals in front of you.

The government needs to step in and make sure that business will be fined if they hire illegals. A big fine that makes it not outsourcing to cut American economics. That way none of this crap will be problem. Cut the head off the working machine exploiting these workers and then the problem of them stealing American jobs will be solved.

Ninja please, I have never seen any upper middle class mexicans, i guess it depends on your socio-economic point of reference to determine if they are living better or worse than you are. How do you know they are all illegal?

here in dalton,they work in these carpet mills,make as much as we do.and like you said with all the freebies they get,they are making alot more than we do.
