Have you herad OUR National Anthem has been changed by Adam Kidron, the words and the melody has been changed?

I couldn't have said it better! We as a country have had to lower our acdemic standard's...have some of "OUR" history washed away & covered up! Change what were time enduring traditions!. And by doing so are changing the face of what america was & should be. This P.C. crap has gone to far!..I've tried to be tollerant, accepting, friendly, afterall this country was founded by immigrants Like my grandparents & gret grandparents..but they came to adapt to the american way of life! Learned the language, work hard help make this country the place it was!..... Not to change it's history, it's language, It's NATIONAL ANTHEM??? I am OUTRAGED by this & will not stand for it any longer!..I will be mailing & emailing my govt. officals from now till this thing is defeated to express my disgust! I hope everyone here will do the same!

I am a Mexican American, born and raised in Texas. When I was young, my parents never taught me a lick of spanish. They to wear born in Texas. I did not learn my own languge untill I joined the Marine Corps. I served my time, and am prowd. I learnd "that" language from the Marines who served next to me, they were serving this country and not even yet citizens. Some of those Marines are Mexican, and what do you know they have died for this country. So if they want an anthem that they can understand better, I have nothing against them. I am an American, and a Texan. As I can remember we are a country of meany races. That is what makes this country great. We survive off the minorities. Who mows you yard, who cooks your food, who drives you cars, who watches your children, who makes life so much easer for you. I have three beatifull Latin American boys, I only pray that we have not left a country for our children that bickers on a song. Yet studies our goverment and they know they can make a change..

They probably did it just to get you to react exactly the way you did, not to seriously change the anthem.

Wow, Don't you think that Jimi Hendricks changed it too? Also if you will notice at the different sporting events or political events the singer changes it to their style. So....

I heard it already, and I couldn't get a good grasp of it because they had someone translating over it. They have changed some of the lyrics it has pretty much the same melody and music, but its really annoying. I heard that in the summer they're going to add new words in english denouncing the immigration bill. I agree with you though, the US national anthem should stay in ENGLISH. DC bob, that is a stupid point you just tried to make. The lyrics are never changed when the song is sung at sporting events. And the song remained mostly the same when Hendrix did it, the only difference is that there are no lyrics. No one has any right to ruin our national song.

He didn't change the National Anthem. That would require an act of congress. He just recorded a Spanish version. What the hell's the big deal? English is NOT the official language of our country, and it was only barely the language chosen by the government. Our country has been full of immigrants who speak a variety of languages. Get over it.

i saw that on the news last night, wasnt really shocked. our goverment is giving this country to the mexicans. a bunch of people that are breaking the law by being here are taking over.they are like roaches, we are over run with them, and there are more of them every day.and they all are nasty. too bad orkin cant get rid of them. i know the national anthem is just a song, but letting these illegals change the words is just wrong.whats next? our flag. we will have that ugly green and yellow thing , they call their flag. why do they fly their flag here any way? they all are so proud but they couldnt get out fast enough.
