Bridal Shower ideas: Theme Honeymoon (Greek islands)?

• Any creative ideas for a Bridal shower....the theme is theirHoneymoon (they are going to the Greek Islands). I was thinking the location for Bridal shower: Greek Islands restaurant, Chicago I was thinking for place cards: luggage tags with written the guest name and come travel with us "the bride and grooms name" Maybe Post cards for invitations Food would be greek themed (obviously since we are at greek islands restaurant. Since they aren't registering....have people assigned a topic for their honey moon....and hope to get money toward that?? These are all still brainstorms......Ideas?????? Thanks so much!

  I LOVE Greece so I think this is a fab idea! All I would recommend is you research the island(s) they're going to - there are a lot of them - and concentrate on those islands in particular, as they're all bound to have their own little traditions. Also, maybe try to throw in some aspects to the Greek Gods (especially the gods and godesses relating to love, like Aphrodite) and the Muses. I went to Corfu last year and there is a whole 'palace' relating to the muses and Achilles (for example). Ask if the restaurant do 'Greek Dancing' nights any time, you know, where they throw the plates and fire dance? They prob won't do this too much for costs, but may have a set night each month etc. Also, why not do a cake in the style of the greek flag? Have a ball - it sounds SO FUN! Love the invite idea too x
