Will Normandy be busy in August?

Proposal Idea help? Paris or Normandy?

• My girlfriend and I are going to Europe. I'm planning on proposing to her sometime during the trip :D They say Paris is the most romantic city in the world....and what girl doesn't want to be proposed to next to the Eiffel Tower? But i feel like paris is too cliche and too common. and it's too much.....i kind of want the proposal to be private and intimate. so i was thinking Normandy area. Have a nice dinner on the beach, some fancy wine, watch the sunset, etc. If you're a girl (or anyone, feel free to give your input) would you rather be proposed to in paris or in normandy? Also, every time i think about the actual proposal i feel like i'm going to throw up/pass out of nervousness. any tips to overcome that? soooo nervousss

  Well, when I was younger I always thought I wanted a proposal in front of a lot of people. But now that I'm older, I'd prefer a more quiet, and original proposal. Yes France is romantic, and yes it would be quite a story to tell. But that's not what its about. My perfect proposal (just giving a girls input), would be a nice romantic dinner, and then say if we were staying in a cabin, I'd love for it to be inside with a fire going, with candles and flowers all around. Girls prefer something from the heart, and I bet anything she would appreciate a quiet, romantic evening. The beach idea sounds lovely. She's a lucky gal! And with the nerves, when it comes down to it, just do it. Don't think about it. The longer you think about it, the more nervous you'll become. Just relax, and enjoy the evening. You'll do fine.
