What are the requirements upon applying husband's visa in UAE?

What if I am on visit visa and planning to get married here, can I obtain a husbands visa???

    are you a legal U.S. citizen? Cause if neither one of you is a citizen you will have to go back to where you came from when your pass expires. If you are a legal citizen contrary to popular belief you cannot just marry a citizen and be able to stay in this country. You still have to go through the process. Anyway the application fee is $300 there are additional fees that add to this cost. Most importantly someone has to be employed and earning more than $20K a year in order to even begin the process.

We spent about $3k, in application and lawyer fees. It depends on so many things, really. We had problems with the visa being a J1.... I would suggest talking to a good immigration lawyer.... One with good reputation, cause some will just steal your money.... The first answerer is right, though. One of you has to already be a US citizen, and earn what INS deems to be enough money to support the immigrant for the next few years.
