What are some awesome and beautiful campgrounds in PA or NY?

Advice for using web to search for Wedding venues in PA,NY, or NJ?

• Hello everyone, Currently I am looking for places to get married around the PA, NJ, NY tri-state area (preferably Delaware County PA). The problem is anytime you do a search for wedding halls and venues you end up getting the most expensive places. All we are looking for are indoor places that allow you to cook and cater your own food and rent for the day (or at least around 5 to 6 hours). Does anyone have a Google search method, (yahoo, bing, whatever search engine you use) to find cheap places such as community centers, party rental places etc? We are basically trying to find the local places that may not advertise themselves online, or have an online presence, but would be cheap to do and meet our requirements. We tried using sites like theknot, partyspace, but they also advertise the expensive places. Another problem is that currently we are in school and are not around PA, NY, or NY so we cannot come to the areas to take a look at local places. Any keywords, phrases you use to search that would get hits, or webpages, and even any experience with this you can offer will be very helpful. Thanks for helping.

  Try using yelp.com. You can search for "wedding venues" along with the zip code. You will get a list of places along with customer reviews. I have used this website many times to find restaurants and other business. The customer reviews really make it easier. Also try contacting the Park & Recreation Depts. in the cities you are interested. Many parks have nice facilities with kitchens and you can bring in your own food.
