Are internships legal if your under the age of 16?

Is there any internships available for a wedding planner in Utah at the age 16?

I am a 16 year old girl living in Riverton, Utah with a desired career path to be a Wedding Planner!! I have had this dream since I was a little girl and want to get a real good head start on this path I have chosen. I would love to get an internship (not through my school because I would have to be a Junior or Senior.) If I am unable to get an internship I would like to job shadow a wedding planner, possibly once a week for a period of time. I am looking for ANY OPTIONS really, those are just some of my suggestions. Please try to help me in any way you can!! It would be awesome to here from you:) Thank you SO much!! :)

Try calling some local wedding planners and tell them your interested in becoming one yourself and that you would like the opportunity to learn more about the profession and what is involved. Remember it never hurts to ask.
